If your question is not here, ask us directly. We would rather have the awkward conversation early than the expensive one later.
What does an ADU cost in San Diego? +
Detached new-construction ADUs generally run $185K–$500K depending on size, site access, and finish level. Garage conversions typically run less. We provide detailed estimates before you commit.
Can I build an ADU on my lot? +
Most single-family and multifamily lots in California qualify for at least one. San Diego’s bonus program can allow several on a single lot. Our free feasibility check confirms your specific property.
How long does an ADU take start to finish? +
Realistically 12–20 months total: 2–3 months design, 3–8 months permitting, 6–9 months construction. Anyone promising dramatically faster is skipping something.
