The Alamo at Texas Street
Texas Street Corridor · 2027
A 40-unit infill development on one of San Diego’s major corridors — our largest project to date.
The project.
The Alamo is a forty-unit infill development on the Texas Street corridor and the largest project in our pipeline. Corridor sites like this one carry the density to make a real contribution to housing supply, and they demand design that holds up at street level where people actually experience the building.

- 02 Entitlement
- 03 Architectural design
- 04 Ground-up construction
Corridor infill at four stories has to resolve two competing demands: enough density for the project to work, and a ground-floor experience that does not turn the sidewalk into a wall.
The design puts its effort at the pedestrian level — articulated ground floor, recessed entries, and landscape that gives the street something other than a flat facade. Upper floors carry the density where its impact on the sidewalk is lowest.
How long it took.
