Most construction projects fail in the same place: the gap between the people who designed it and the people who build it. A set gets drawn; the contractor discovers it does not work, or costs twice the estimate, or conflicts with the structural drawings. What follows is months of change orders and a client caught in the middle of an argument between companies they are paying.
Ark Haven was built to close that gap. We review the drawings for constructability and budget before a shovel moves, and our interior designers and construction team sit in the same office. When a detail does not work, we catch it on paper instead of in the field — and fixing it costs an afternoon rather than a change order.

Our founding team was born and raised in San Diego. We learned this county the slow way — its neighborhoods, its soils, its plan checkers, and the difference between a coastal lot and a canyon lot when it comes time to actually build.
The people on our crews are project managers, superintendents, interior designers, and finish carpenters who have spent their careers on San Diego job sites. Many have worked together for years, across dozens of projects, which is why a detail raised in the morning is usually resolved by the afternoon.
